This Sunday, January 23, we are acknowledging as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. On this Sunday, churches throughout the United States celebrate God's gift of life and commit to protecting human life at every stage.
New Adult Class Begins
We are starting a new Adult class this Sunday, January 23 during the 9:30am hour in Room 112. Pastor Keith and Kerry Doyle will be teaching "Promised Beforehand," an introductory class on biblical hermeneutics. We will be looking at the grand story of Scripture and learning how to fit all the different parts together. If you are not already part of an adult community or serving during the 9:30am hour, we encourage you to check out this class!
Church Lunch & Meeting
Our monthly church lunches start this month. These meals are hosted by our high school student missionaries, and donations go towards their summer mission trips. Plan to join us at Noon on Sunday, January 23. If you didn't register, head to the back of the line we made extra! The January Congregational Meeting will start after lunch is served. We will be sharing some exciting updates on our ministries and projects.
Men & Boys Retreat
Guys, the deadline for registering is quickly approaching. Plan to join us February 25-27, 2022 for our yearly mid-winter retreat for fathers, sons, and men of all ages and stages. We will be at Lake Lundgren Bible Camp for a weekend that features tons of fun activities, great food, a challenging guest speaker all set in the Northwoods of Wisconsin! Grab your tickets soon! Family Game Night
Come ready to play on Friday, January 28 from 6-8pm in the Fellowship Center! This is a great opportunity to get to know other families at Calvary as well as have some fun. Bring your favorite games to share or just play ours. Snacks will be provided. This event is being hosted by Men's Ministry.
Wanna Paint?
Work is progressing on the remodel in the youth area. You might have noticed the check-in counter has been removed and some seating is coming soon! On February 7, we hope to paint the Community Room (old Cafe), and the old KZ Babies area. Volunteers are needed to make this happen. Want to help?
