New Adult Equipping Classes (April 19 - June 28, 2026)

Romans: The Gospel Unleashed - Legacy Class | Taught by Ethan Hansen (Fellowship West): The book of Romans stands as the most comprehensive exposition of the Christian gospel ever written. In this 10-week journey through Paul’s magisterial letter, we will trace his sweeping argument from humanity’s universal need for righteousness to the glorious freedom found only in Jesus Christ. We will wrestle with the depth of human sinfulness, marvel at the richness of justification by faith, and sit with Paul as he unpacks what it means to be united with Christ, freed from the law, and led by the Spirit. We will also enter Paul’s heart for Israel and the mystery of God’s sovereign purposes in redemption history — before grounding ourselves in the practical, gospel-shaped life that flows from the mercies of God. Whether you are new to Romans or have spent years in its pages, this study invites you to encounter afresh the gospel that has fueled the church’s mission, anchored her theology, and changed countless lives for two thousand years.

Faithful with What You Have: A Biblical Approach to Financial Stewardship - Hosted by Young Adults | Taught by Tom Kiel (Fellowship East): Jesus spoke more about money than almost any other subject — because He knew that what we do with our finances reveals what we actually believe about God, provision, and what makes life worth living. In this 10-week study, Tom Kiel will guide our Young Adults through a practical and biblically grounded approach to financial stewardship, addressing the real money decisions that young adults face while anchoring every practical tool in a larger theological vision. We will honestly examine the cultural pressures that fuel debt, discontentment, and the quiet love of money — and we will discover that the antidote is not simply a better budget, but a better treasure. From there we will move into the practical: spending plans, saving, giving, and building habits now that will shape a lifetime of faithfulness. Whether you are just starting out or trying to undo patterns that have already taken root, this class offers both the scriptural foundation and the practical framework to become a faithful steward of everything God has entrusted to you.

Free to Serve: The Ten Commandments in Modern Culture - Free to Serve Class | Taught by Mike Bukovitz (Room 132): The Ten Commandments are not relics of ancient religion or tools of legalistic constraint - they are a living moral framework that reveals the character of God and defines what it looks like to love Him and others well. In this 10-week study of Exodus 20, Mike Bukovitz will demonstrate that the commandments transcend culture, time, and covenantal context, remaining as relevant and binding for believers today as ever. Covering both dimensions of love — our relationship with God and our relationships with one another — we will grapple honestly with the idols that compete for our devotion and discover that God’s commands reflect His holiness, protect human flourishing, and call us to the integrity that authentic faith requires. At a moment when moral clarity is eroding, this study offers a stabilizing foundation — and a compelling vision of the freedom that comes from living under the reign of a holy God.

Getting the Gospel Right: How to Be Sure to Present a Complete Gospel Witness - Community of Parents Class | Taught by Caleb Azure (Room 131): In a culture that has reshaped the gospel into something therapeutic, moralistic, or merely inspirational, the stakes of getting it right have never been higher. This 10-week study is built on the conviction that a truncated or distorted gospel — however well-intentioned — cannot save, and that parents are among the most strategic gospel witnesses in their children’s lives. Together we will examine what a full and faithful gospel witness actually requires, identifying the elements that are too often missing and the cultural pressures that quietly erode our message. Along the way, we will work to sharpen both our understanding and our language, so that what we pass on to our children is the genuine article — the costly, glorious, life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.

Transformed: A Study in Romans 12 and the Life of Paul - Rooted Class | Taught by John Hartenberger (Room 134): What does real, lasting transformation actually look like — and how does it happen? In this 10-week study, we will explore the nature of spiritual transformation through the lens of Romans 12, while tracking one of the most compelling case studies Scripture offers: the apostle Paul himself. By comparing Paul’s earliest letter (Galatians) with his final one (2 Timothy), we will observe how 25 to 30 years of walking with Christ reshaped the way he thought, loved, suffered, and led. His transformation was not sudden or superficial — it was the slow, grace-driven work of a life yielded to God. For parents in the middle of the beautiful chaos of raising young families, this study offers both a realistic picture of what transformation requires and an honest invitation to ask: what is God doing in me?

Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life - 2B1 Young Marrieds Class | Taught by Adam Foat (Room 133): The Christian life does not grow by accident. Behind every mature, fruitful follower of Christ is a set of intentional habits and practices — spiritual disciplines — that create the conditions for genuine transformation. In this interactive 10-week class, Adam Foat will guide young married couples through what the spiritual disciplines are, why they matter, and how to actually practice them in the rhythms of everyday life. We will cover a broad range of disciplines including prayer, fasting, worship, solitude, service, generosity, Bible study, Bible reading and memorization, discernment, and evangelism — exploring each not as a checklist of religious performance, but as a means of grace through which God shapes us into the image of His Son. For couples building a life together, there may be no more strategic investment than cultivating these habits now — together — as the spiritual foundation from which everything else in your marriage and family will grow.
