"Behold, I am making all things new." Revelation 21:5

The Women’s Ministry at Calvary Bible Church is made up of women from different backgrounds and seasons of life who walk by faith and who understand that connected, we are stronger and brighter - revealing the light of heaven in our homes, communities, and world. Our desire is to help women live full, fruitful lives.

We encourage you to try out a Bible study or attend a women’s event this year. It will be a wonderful opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with God and to connect with others. Join us, as together, we embrace the new things God has in store for us this year, loving and serving the One who said,” Behold, I am making all things new.”

Morning In May

Morning In May

Saturday, May 1 @ 9:00am

Join us for a special morning where you can relax and enjoy a light breakfast, followed by a time of wonderful music and an encouraging message by Charissa Schmidt.

The theme for this event is “Ponder Anew What the Almighty Can Do!” With his beloved Jerusalem under siege, Jeremiah cried out to the LORD for understanding, and God answered: “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27.  As God challenged Jeremiah to remember His matchless power, so we are called to remember God’s past faithfulness and reflect on who He is. Join us as we explore some attributes which make God wholly unique and utterly worthy of our praise!

Now that things are easing up as far as Covid is concerned, this will be a wonderful morning to reconnect with friends that you won’t want to miss! Cost is $6 per ticket.

Wednesday Bible Study

Wednesday Bible Study

Resumes April 7 @ 9:25am in Room 112

Sarah Pollock and Stacey Sparks will lead us in a new series entitled “Life in the Valley: Staying Faithful in Hard Places.” Life is a series of mountains and valleys, some filled with struggle, and others with great joy. As we look at the valley of decision, the valley of challenges, the valley of grief, the valley of renewal, and the valley of journey, we will be reminded of the truth that no matter what is happening in our life, God is enough!

A children’s program is provided at no charge for children from birth through kindergarten, but moms with children in the program commit to helping each quarter.  Contact: Bobbie Peterson (920.730.8504) or Joanna Blomberg (920.739.1364). We ask that masks be worn during the Bible study out of kindness and respect to others who are attending.

Evening Edition

Evening Edition

Tuesdays, 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM
March 30 through May 17 In Room 112

Beginning March 30, Jan Burwitz and Cami Czech lead us in a new Lysa TerKeurst video series entitled “Trustworthy.”

Are you exhausted trying to keep everything under control because you fear God won’t come through? When hard times come and life takes an unexpected turn, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. Join us as we journey through the books of 1 and 2 Kings as we discuss how to truly trust God.

Evening Edition is designed for women of all ages and stages of life. Since we believe that Bible study and friendship go hand in hand, Evening Edition will provide you with an opportunity to meet other women as you experience rich Bible teaching.

Childcare is not available. We ask that masks be worn during the Bible study as an act of kindness and respect to others who are attending.

Contact: Jan Burwitz (920) 731-9082 or Cami Czech (920) 540-3958.

Heart to Heart Mentoring

Heart to Heart Mentoring

Heart to Heart Mentoring is all about sharing life’s experiences and God’s faithfulness. It’s about women investing in the lives of each other through listening, encouragement, guidance, laughing, and loving.

Titus 2:3-5 speaks of a church where women learn from other women, “to teach what is good…so that God’s message will not be slandered.”  Mentoring doesn’t have to be complicated, just sharing life experience over a cup of coffee or tea with some Christ-centered conversation. It’s all about cultivating a friendship in the midst of what is already going on in our lives.

If you are interested in being in a mentoring relationship, either as a mentor or as the person being mentored, contact Stacey Sparks at (920) 277-6539 or sparks.s@live.com
